Membership in the Druidical Order of the Golden Dawn is open to those who are interested in practicing the system of Druidical magic and initiation taught in The Celtic Golden Dawn by John Michael Greer, and who are willing to abide by the spirit and the letter of the obligations of the Ovate and Bardic Grades as given in the same book.

Please note the following:

If you want to study Druidry as a religion, if you are looking for a church that will ordain you to the ministry, if you are interested in ancient Celtic traditions, if you want to work with traditions of Irish origin, or if you object to studying Druidical ceremonial magic in an order that admits people of all ethnic backgrounds, please do not apply for membership in our order. You will not find what you want in the Druidical Order of the Golden Dawn, and should pursue your interests elsewhere.

To apply for membership, please send your membership fee and all required information via email to druidicalgd@gmail.com. (We no longer accept applications via postal mail.)

Your application must include the following information:

There is a fee of US$50.00 for lifetime membership in the Order. This fee may be paid via PayPal, either via the payment button below or to druidicalgd@gmail.com. Please note that payment must accompany your application. Applications will not be processed unless the fee is paid at the same time that the application is submitted.

Members of the Order will be admitted to the private members-only email list, and may also take examinations to be certified as Ovates, Bards, and Druids as they proceed through the Order’s study program. There is a US$50 fee for each examination; please contact the Secretary for an application before sending in the fee for examination. Members who have completed the work of the Druid grade and passed all examinations are eligible to apply for a temple charter. Members also receive access to private knowledge lectures and other private papers of the order which are appropriate to their degree, and have the opportunity to contribute papers and other original work to the order's private archives.
